In teh parish reguster of st Edmund in Salisbury is the marriage rocord of John Wheyler and Agnes Yeoman on 1 Dec 1611 (Wiltshire Parish Register, 13 : 43) At that period the names Agnes, Ann and Annes were used interchangeabley for one and the same person. Died peacefully on Oct, 14th, 2012 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Until his death Carlos lived in Sanford, Florida. He enlisted in the US Navy on Dec. 14th, 1945 and served 24 years. During the course of his career he earned, 5 Good Conduct Awards, the National Defense Service Medal, the Navel Occupation Medal, the Antarctica Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the American Area Medal. Upon his retirement from the US Navy, Carlos had obtained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. In June of 1951, Carlos married Mary Louise Wallace of Chesterhill, Ohio and they were divorced in 1954. Carlos had two Sons, Ronald & Mark. Mark died in 1973. Ronald lives in McConnelsville, Ohio. Carlos has one grandson, Adam Raines of Chesterhill, Ohio. In April of 1956, Carlos married Dorothy(Dot) Kendrick. Carlos cared for his invalid wife at home for over 12 years until she died in April of 2012. Carlos had two Stepsons, Paul & Butch Kendrick of Florida. Carlos had 2 step grandchildren. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, 3 Brothers(Clarence, Dallas and Harold). Carlos has 4 sisters(Geri, Delores, Wanda and Wilma), and one brother(Butch) surviving. Carlos had a special niece, Carol Lakin of Deland, Florida. Carlos was a member of the Elks, the NRA and the Knights of Columbus. Carlos had also been a member of the Lions Club for many years. Carlos Was an avid bowler for many years. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 19th at the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home in Sanford, Florida. Burial was in the Oaklawn Park Cemetery in Sanford, Florida. Carlos was very Patriotic and loved his country very much. Honor Services were provided FREE by The Patriot Guard Riders. Giordano, 82 of East Liverpool passed peacefully while in the care of her loving family at her daughter’s residence in Beaver on Friday, November 6, 2015. Her illness was very short. Born on February 2, 1933 in Ripley, WV; her parents were the late Rube and Louise McDevitt Dudgeon. Having been raised in Chester, Carol lived in East Liverpool since marrying her husband, the late Samuel Giordano on November 2, 1968. Following her marriage to Sam, she retired from the Homer Laughlin china Company in 1969 and assumed her duties as a loving homemaker to her family. An active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chester, she was a graduate of the former Chester High School. Her family was her passion, and her spare time, Carol enjoyed sewing, woodworking, and crafting. In addition to her parents and husband Sam, two brothers, Lawrence and Ben Dudgeon preceded her in death. Carol’s surviving family include her children, Joyce Boggs and husband James of Beaver, PA., Mark Giordano and wife Melissa of Wellsville, Tony Giordano and wife Paula of Louisville, KY., and Jolene Caldwell and husband Rick, also of Louisville; and one brother, Pete Dudgeon and wife Janet of East Liverpool. She was born July 29, 1948 at Kenna, a daughter of Mamie Shamblin Kenney and the late Bill Fisher. She was a graduate of Ripley High School and member of the Bethel Bible Church and retired from the Department of Agriculture. Aileen was a homemaker and her life was spending time with her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John Fiber Sr.; sons Brad Ray of Sissonville, Darrin Ray and wife Sheryl of Kenna and John Fiber Jr and wife Christina of Chapin, South Carolina; brothers Billy Stanley Fisher of Florida and Wayne Fisher of Kenna; sisters Diane Burdette, Charlotte Ashby, Theressa James, Sandra Barr and Kimberly Compton; grandchildren, Samantha Burgess, Sierra Ray and Dalton Fiber. She is also survived by many special nephews and nieces. In honoring her wishes there will be a private service for her immediate family. She was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Kenna and was a daughter of the late Arch Asbury and Cora Belle Gibson Parsons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenna Edward Shields, seven brothers, seven sisters and a granddaughter, Teresa Lynn Hicks. She was a homemaker and attended Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Ruth Ann Hutchison and Ruby Hicks, both of Ripley; son, Ronnie Shields of Evans; and a granddaughter, Alicia Jane Hutchison Rice of Nashville, Tenn. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Pastor Mark Siers officiating. Burial will follow in Fairplain Cemetery. Shirley was diagnosed with cancer just 17 days prior to her death and passed peacefully in her home. She was active and living a full life with her beloved husband, Arlen Charters, in Longwood, FL prior to her death. Shirley is survived by her only child, Vickie McLeod, of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Brandon and Kyle; and five great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Carmean (Wayne), of Gotha, FL; brother, Robert Raines of Young Harris, GA; brother, Charles Raines (Darlene), of Dixie, GA; and sister-in-law, Jean Raines (Richard). Shirley moved to Orlando in 1950 where she graduated from Boone High School. She worked for many years for the Orange County tax collector's office in the accounting department. Shirley had a love of history and genealogy as well as flower gardening and puzzles. She was a kind and gentle woman who was loved and respected by all who knew her. A memorial to celebrate Shirley's life will be held on June 4th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Markham Woods Seventh Day Adventist Church, 505 Markham Woods Rd, Longwood, FL 32779.
