38655 Pioneer History of Meigs Co, OH to 1949:
Elizabeth Willoughby was the daughter of Captain Thomas Willoughby, Lower Norfolk co, VA. He is said to have been born in England. 1629-1632, member of House of Burgesses, 1644-46, member of Governor's Council. Large tracts of land in Lower Norfolk pateneted to him. He sent his only son, Col. Thomas W., born Dec 25, 1632, to the famous Merchant Tailor's School, London, where he was entered in 1644 as only son of Thomas Willoughby of VA, merchant. In a patent to Capt. Thomas Willoughby, 1654, Thomas, Alice, adn Elizabeth W. are named among the headrights. He died in England in 1658 when administration of his estate was granted to his son, Thomas.

Isaac Allerton II married (2) Mrs. Elizabeth (Willoughby) Colclough probably in 1663 in either VA or MD.
Isaac Allerton II was born in Plymouth about 1630. On the death of his mother and the permanent removal of his father from the colony, he was left with his grandfather, Elder Williaim Brewster, who reared and educated him. On graduating from Harvard College, 1650, he joined his father at New Amsterdam and engaged in business with him there and at New Haven and in Virginia.

Elizabeth Willoughby was the daughter of Captain Thomas Willoughby, Lower Norfolk co, VA . . .

John Newton, Sr, mariner, born about 1639, lived at Anlaby, England. Eldest son of Thomas Newton, of Kingston-upon-Hull, a city famous for it maritime trade and shipbuilding. Resided in Westmoreland co, Va by 1676 or 77; name first appeared there in 1672.

She died before April 10, 1700, shortly agter the death of her husband, prior October 29, 1699, their estates being administered together.

He was born about 1686, left an orphan before April 10, 1700. Died between March 1 and April 25, 1722. Elizabeth died about 1734.
Elizabeth Barryman was daughter of Capt. Benjamin Berryman by his first wife, Sarah _____ (named as his wife in 1702) and step-daughter of William Newton's aunt, Elizabeth Newton, last wife of Capt. Berryman.
Capt. Berryman died between Aug 4 and 27, 1729.
1703, 1712, 1720 one of Justices of Westmoreland co.
1719 appointed Sheriff of the co by governor Spottswood.

38667 Postalwaite, Albert A - 79, of Evans, Jackson County, formerly of Cottageville, died Monday morning in a Parkersburg hospital after an illness of one year. Surviving are two sons, Hoyt and Otie, both of Ohio; three daughters, Mrs Edith McGrath, Miss Ida Belle Postalwaite and Miss Tillie Postalwaite, all of Alliance, Ohio. Service will be conducted at 4 pm Wednesday in the Long View Methodist Curch near Evans by Rev Armout Sayre. Burial will be in the Long View Cemetery. The body is at the Casto mortuary in Evans.
