    • Opal M. Rhodes, 69, of Spencer, formerly of Walton, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at home.
      She was born in Roane County, a daughter of the late Kenny and Emma M. Moore Jackson. She was a homemaker.
      She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Jones and Linda McClanahan, both of Walton; one sister, Phyllis Marks of Walton; four brothers, Johnny Jackson of Elkview, Carl Hively of Charleston, Carlos Hively of Elkview and Gary Rexroad of Walton; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
