John D. and Jane are buried in the family cemetery near the Randolph log home. Rev. John D. Hamon married (1) Harriet M. Starcher on 14 Sept 1890 (JCMR). Harriet died soon after their first child was born (dead). [Note: Rev. John D. Hamon was illiterate and all official records spell his name HAMON. The original spelling was HAMMOND]
