  • Notes

    • Donna S. Good, 46, of Sissonville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, after a sudden illness.

She was self-employed and really loved the people she worked for.

Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a caring friend to everyone she knew and was loved by all. Always laughing and smiling, she had a way of making you feel very special. She always put others first and for her generosity and love, she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Louanne Sigmon; her special friends, Barbara and Bill Chase; and a special uncle, Bob Legg.

Surviving are her husband and best friend of 30 years, Joe; daughters and a son-in-law, Kimberly and Ronnie Newhouse of Sissonville and Kristie Good and fiance, Ted Smith Jr., of Cross Lanes; and four grandchildren, Tyler Good, Kelsie Newhouse, Makenzie Good and Braxton Smith. They were her life and will miss her so much. Also surviving are sisters, Shirley Casto and Rose Sigmon of Charleston and Becky Walker of Sissonville; brothers, Buck Sigmon of Nashville, Tenn., Larry Sigmon of Sissonville and Kevin Fisher of Ohio; special aunt, Oneda Legg; several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Vicky Linkenauger and Tootie Wheeler.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses on 4 North at CAMC Memorial Hospital. You girls were angels and we love and thank you for being so good with our mom. Also, thanks to Dr. Goad and Dr. Ratnani, and all of the doctors and nurses who tried to help save our mom.

A service to celebrate the life of Donna Good will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will be in Shively Cemetery, Sissonville.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at cpjfuneralhome@aol.com.
