I'm a third great granddaughter of John Butler and Margaret May. Their son (my second great grandfather), Samuel Floyd Butler, was born September 5, 1979 in Baxter, West Virginia. He married Mary Lake Pearl Wilson on January 19, 1900 in Calhoun County, West Virginia. They moved to Arkansas sometime before July 15, 1910 where my great grandfather, John David Butler, Sr. was born. They moved to Pelly, Texas sometime before 1930. Samuel Floyd Butler died on October 11, 1957 in Baytown, Texas at the age of 78. My great grandfather, John David Butler, Sr. married Cleo Mae Clark sometime before 1930 in Texas. My grand father, John David Butler, Jr. (Johnny) was born May 19, 1935 in Harris County, Texas. John Sr. died February 14, 1957 in San Antonio Texas at the age of 46. My grandfather Johnny married my grandmother Wilda Ann Franssen in 1957. My daddy, Matt Duane Butler, was born June 28, 1962 in Harris County, Texas. Papa Johnny was shot and killed on July 4, 1983 in Liberty, TX at the age of 48. Daddy married my mother, Amy Clare Stanley, on December 10, 1983 in Dayton, Liberty County, Texas. I was born June 3, 1985 in Humble, Harris County, Texas. My daddy died in a car wreck on August 14, 2012 in Dayton, Liberty County, Texas at the age of 50.
