  Notes	Bricel E. Herdman Bricel Eugene “Gene” Herdman, 59, of Buffalo died November 27, 1999, in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Pt. Pleasant, after a short illness. He was a riverboat captain for Madison Coal & Supply Co., Charleston. He was a former employee of M&G Transport Co., and Army veteran and a member of the Moose, Nitro. Surviving: wife, Kathy Boyd Herdman; daughters, Nancy L. Delhosta and Sherry Painter, both of Jonesville, Louisiana, and Eugena “Jeannie” Kosa of Eleanor; sons, Bricel Jr. of Eleanor, Shawn of Buffalo, and Mike of Massachusetts; stepdaughters, Dierdra Dillon of Charleston and Rachel Dillon of Tarboro, North Carolina; stepson, Norman Dillon of Charleston; sisters, Debora L. Hill of Eleanor and Karen S. Craig of Buffalo; brother, Kenneth L. of Bancroft; 11 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren. Service was held November 30, 1999 at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo, with the Rev. Jasper Herdman officiating. Burial was in Haven of Rest Mausoleum, Red House. ( Putnam Post)
