  Notes	Max Cowdery Brown, 81, of Ravenswood, died Wednesday in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. Brown was a World War II veteran. He was a retired pipefitter for Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp., Ravenswood. He was born in Meigs County, a son of the late Hollie and Goldie Marie Cowdery Brown. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Mary Klinkhamer Brown; two daughters, Hollie Marie Evans of Mineral Wells and Marsha Jo Wallace of Williamstown; one brother, Woodrow Brown of Whitney, PA; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Douglas, Charles, H. Clair, Harry, and Dean Brown; and two sisters, Dale Dixon and Gail Rowan. Funeral services will be held at 11am Sunday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Sylvester Staud officiating. Burial will be in Ravenswood Cemetery, with military rites.
