  Notes	Obituaries in the June 19 issues of The Putnam Democrat or The Cabell Record Lola E. Persinger Lola E. Persinger, 80, of Scott Depot died June 9, 2003, in Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon F. Persinger. She attended Rock Branch Independent Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving children, Corky Persinger, Dalmes Persinger, John Persinger and Viola Stone, all of Scott Depot; sisters, Myrtle Priddy of Hometown, Violet Thornton of Rockford, Illinois, Beulah Rollins of Beckley, Othena Higginbotham and Dorothy Thornton, both of Red House, and Ruth Thornton of Grandview; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Service was held Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, with Pastor Delbert Hawley officiating. Burial was in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.
