  Notes	Friday 26 February 1904 WASHINGTON COUGHENOUR -- Mr. Washington Coughenour died at his home at Malaby last Friday, aged 74 years. The funeral services were held Sunday morning by Rev. W. J. Fulton, interement following by Undertaker Hix. His wife, formeraly Miss Demarius Tipton, and three children, two daughters and one son survive him. He had been a consistent Christian all his life and was respected by all who knew him. A kind and indulgent father and husband is a sad blow to the home circle. He was the oldest of a family of ten children, all of whom survive except one sister, and all live in this county except William, of Missouri and Mrs. John Malaby, of Kansas. Peace be to his ashes.
