Alto, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at home following a short illness. He was the son of Charles E. and Harriott (McDermitt) Hannum. He was retired from Appalachian Power Company, a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of the Millwood Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons, Robert Hannum of Springfield, VA, James E. Hannum of Timberville, and Charles D. Hannum of Arlington, VA; a brother, William Hannum of Cottageville; four sisters, Mildred Roby of Charleston, Gay Donohew of Felicity, Ohio, Ada Lee Click of Mt. Alto, and Elsie M. Durst of Niles, OH; and four grandchildren. Service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Casto Funeral Home in Evans with Rev. Denver Haught officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Letart. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Point Pleasant Register June 12, 1993.
