She was born October 9, 1925 in Mount Alto, a daughter of the late Charles Elmer and Harriet Rona (McDermott) Hannum. She assisted with the establishment of the Mount Alto Church of Christ, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Elmer H. Click, son, David Elmer Click of Cottageville; daughter, Penny Lee Thaxton of Cottageville; brother, William Hannum of Cottageville; sisters, Mildred Roby of Charleston, and Elsie Mae Durst of Youngstown, OH; grandchildren, Jacob, Kevin, Kurtis, and Kyle; great grandchild, Pamela Lee Thaxton. In addition to her parents, a brother Charles, Jr., and a sister Lorna Gay Donohew, also preceded her in death. Graveside service was Sunday, May 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Hopewell Cemetery, Mount Alto. Visitation was Saturday 6 - 8 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV. Point Pleasant Register April 30, 2004.
