A World War I veteran, !he was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are three sons, John V. of Weirton. Earl F. of Follansbee and George H. of Ravenswood; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Senea of Barberton, Ohio, and Mrs. Ethel Hurd of Parkersburg; a sister, Mrs. Delia Bowen of Sandyville; and 12 grandchildren. Service will be conducted at 11 a. m. Saturday in Parsons Funeral Home at Ripley by Rev. Nobel Harper. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery at Sandyville.
