He was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Nina Rife Rupe and two brothers, Arthur Rupe, Cheshire, OH R#1 and Leo Rupe, Bidwell, OH, R#1. He was killed December 28, 1968 in a car accident on R#7, one and two tenths of a mile south of Cheshire, OH. He was in a car with three women and they had been drinking. He drove a truck for Royal Crown Bottling Co, Middleport, OH. Funeral services at Rawlings-Coats Funeral Home, Middleport, OH with Rev Chester Lemley officiating. Burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, OH
