Robert Dailey Sr.
Robert Lee Dailey Sr., 73, of Vienna, died Feb. 17, 2002, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Thomas D. and Sarah Dawson Dailey. He was a former member of the Carpenter Union Local 899 of Parkersburg. He worked in the building trade for more than 40 years and was a member of the 19th Street Church of God.
He is survived by two sons, Robert L. Dailey II of Locust Grove, Va. and Gerald Dailey of Vienna; two daughters, Vickie Yencha and Becky Duncan, both of Parkersburg; one brother, Fred Dailey of Pisgah, Ala.; one sister, Geneva Vincent of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Burdette Dailey in 1995; one son, Larry Eugene Dailey; four brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 19th Street Church of God. Reverend Wayne Terry will officiate. Burial will be in the Neale Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of Vienna and one hour prior to the time of service Wednesday at the church.
