      Anna Ellen Weigand

      Anna Ellen Weigand, 85, of Letart died Wednesday, September 18, 1996, at her residence.

      Born September 17, 1911 in Letart, she was a daughter of the late Okey Milton and Bertha Lucinda (Hudson) Roush. She was a homemaker.

      In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Taft Weigand; four sisters, Erma Griffith, Irene Rarick, Marcella Welch and Edith Roush; and two brothers, Robert E. Roush and Alberine Roush.

      Survivors include a son, Gerald H. Weigand of Letart; a daughter, Dorothy J. Weigand of Letart; two sisters, Kathryn G. Gill of Point Pleasant and Idas L. Pendland of Flemingsburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

      Service will be Sunday, September 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, with Rev. John Icenhower officiating. Burial will follow in Letart Evergreen Cemetery.

      Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 6-9 p.m.
