Clarence R Kay of Dunbar Dies
Clarence R Kay, 68, owner of the Kay Realty Co of Dunbar, died in a South Charleston hospital last night after a long illness.
Mr Kay lived in Dunbar for 41 years. He was a former assistant cashier of the Bank of Dunbar.
Mr Kay was a native of Rock Castle, Jackson County. He operated the realty company with his son, James. He was a veteran of World War I and belonged to the American Legion for 40 years.
Also surviving are his wife, Mary; a daughter, Mrs Lloyd Lucas Jr of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; two brothers, Emory of Dunbar and Earl of Given; and two grandchildren.
The body is at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar.
