Eva Skeen Chancey, 89, of Ripley, passed away July 29, 2014, at Jackson General Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Grover and Sarah Winters Skeen. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James "Bud" Chancey; her brother, Woodrow Skeen; and one granddaughter.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
