Ethel A. West, 78, of Dunbar departed this life Dec. 8, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. West; and her daughter, Susan L. Williams. Mrs. West is survived by her children, John W. West of South Charleston and Cynthia A. McDaniels of Atlanta, Ga. In addition, she is survived by her three grandsons, Robert H. West and wife, Lisa, of South Charleston, SSgt Shad A. West, stationed at Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and John A. West of South Charleston. She was blessed with four great-grandchildren, Kane, Alisha, Noah and Amber West. She is also survived by her brother and his wife, Richard E. and Marty Casto of St. Albans.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum chapel with the Rev. Clinton T. Hoy officiating. Burial will follow in the memorial gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home. Gatens-Harding Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Poca,WV is in charge of arrangements.
