G. Meredith Jessie, 81, of Charleston, passed away March 14, 2010 after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Susie Anderson Harris; husband Bill Jessie; and brothers Elmer and Delmer Harris.
Meredith is survived by daughter Diane Hess of Charleston, WV; sons, Tim Jessie of Huntersville, NC, and Mike (Lisa) Jessie of Coppell, TX; sisters Willadean Harper of Spencer, WV; Marlene Neal of Port St. Lucie, FL; and Anita Dodd of Point Pleasant, WV; and three grandchildren, Andre Jessie of Huntersville, NC; Madi Jessie, and Sarah Jessie both of Coppell, TX.
Meredith was a member of Trinity United Methodist and a homemaker.
The family would like to give a special thanks to caretakers Maxine Shaffer, Hattie Bishop, and Lucy Teel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17 from 7-9 pm at Bartlett- Burdette-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 18 at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Barbara Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Sissonville.
