CAIRO - Muriel S. Casto, 93, who resided with her son-in-law, Sam Cox of Harrisville, departed this life Dec. 23, 2002, in Parkersburg.
She was born Dec. 11, 1909, in Cairo. Mrs. Casto had been employed by Pine View Convalescent Center, Harrisville, and was a member of the Spruce Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bob Six of Parkersburg, and David Six of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one daughter, Jean Marshall of Vienna; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-granchildren.
Mrs. Casto was preceded in death by her parents, David L. and Laura Rexroad Six; husband, Alpha W. Casto; daughter, Edna Cox; four brothers, Ralph, John, Howard and Orville Casto; and four sisters, Hazel Rollins, Ena Tustin, Ethel Rollins, and Pauline Goodnight.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, in Raiguel Funeral Home, Cairo. Interment will be in Six Cemetery near Cairo. Friends may call from 3:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
