Marriage shows David, not Daniel, as does marriage of son David
This is the inscription from David and his wives' tombstone:
David Sayre Died Feb. 15, 1895 Aged 84Y. 3M. 25D. (north face)
Minerva Stone Died Apr. 13, 1851 Aged 32Y. 28D. --
Marthena Hill Died Mar. 10, 1872 Aged 39Y. 5M. 9D. --
Mary J. Stephenson Died Aug. 7, 1875 Aged 51Y. 5M. (east face)
Nancy M. Scantlin Born Jan. 6, 1836, Died Feb. 8, 1926 (west face)
There is also a very, very worn (obviously original) stone for Minerva leaning up against the obelisk that now marks their plot and carries the above inscriptions. It is of what looks to be sandstone in texture, and has peeled off layers in all the worst places. You can still make out "Minerva, wife of" and a few other key letters and numbers to know that it is her marker.
