Hazel Marie Stire, 69, of Sissonville died June 19, 1998, in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, after a sudden illness.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving: daughters, Mona O'Connor of Little Hocking, Ohio, Regina Higginbotham of St. Albans; sons, Virgil Stire of Charleston, Keith Stire of Sissonville; sister, Alice Hackney of Anderson, S.C.; brothers, Joseph Counts of Kentuck, William "Bill" Counts of Charleston, Sheldon Counts of Walton; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will be in Floral Hill Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
