He was a farmer and a life-long resident of Sissonville. Survived are his wife, Mrs. Tressie Randolph Jones; two sons, Roy and James William both at home; two daughters, Helen and Linda, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Mahala Jones of Sissonville, a brother, Ernest Jones of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Parsons of Sissonville and Mrs. Pearl Randolph of Harold, Ky. The body is at Cunningham Mortuary. Service will be at 2 p.m. in Sunlight Baptist Church of Island Branch near Sissonville with Rev. Clark Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery near the church.
