  Notes	Reba Faye (Ray) Hackney, 82, of Cottageville, WV, passed away April 24, 2018 at her home following an extended illness. She was born July 20, 1935, in Romance, WV, a daughter of the late Clemit and Biddie Ethel (Comer) Ray. Her husband, Silas Hackney, a daughter, Iris Kay Rogers-Derrick; and a great granddaughter, Brooke Rogers also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She attended the Cottageville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons, Harold (Terri) Hackney, Wayne (Becky) Hackney, Kevin (Buffy) Hackney, all of Cottageville, WV, Gregory Hackney of Mount Alto and Charles Randall (Sherry) Hackney of Statts Mills, WV; daughters, Teresa (Dickie) Thacker of Cottageville, WV and Donna Hackney of Ravenswood, WV; brother, Paul Ray of Romance, WV; sister, Marilyn Fisher of Elkview, WV; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, WV, with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Cemetery, Cottageville, WV. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
