He was born November 5, 1939 in West Virginia, a son of the late Gilbert and Edna Nesselrotte Knopp. He was a US Navy Veteran and retired from Monsanto. He is survived by his wife, Joella Milam Knopp; a son, Dennis Delane Knopp of Leon; a daughter, Sandra (Merrel) Hopper of Leon; sisters Carolyn Stalnaker of Cross Lanes and Shirley Short of Spencer. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Arrangements are pending. Waybright Funeral Home is serving the Knopp Family.
