Surviving are her husband, Albert R Walker, three daughters, Carlene, Pauline, Carolyn, all at home; her mother, Mrs Vilda Shaffer, Porter; four sisters, Mrs Holley Cart, Mrs Burton Drake, both of Clay, Mrs Raymond Burdette and Mrs Dewey Burdette, both of Porter; two brothers, Wilbur Shaffer, Meadowbrook, Euhl Shaffer, Clay. The remains will be taken to the home of a brother-in-law, Taris Conley, Meadowbrook Hills, Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 at Mt Carmel Methodist Church with Rev Elton Keller officiating. Interment will be conducted by Bartlett mortuary in White Cemetery.
