David Ray Skeen
April 9, 1957 - April 7, 2019
David Ray Skeen, 61 of Kentuck, went home to be with the Lord and his loved ones on April 7, 2019 at Jackson General Hospital.
He was born on April 9, 1957 at Kentuck, a son of the late Clement and Vivian Kessel Skeen. David was a 1975 graduate of Ripley High School. He enjoyed attending churches in the Kentuck, Kenna and Fairplain areas. He also enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, woodworking and crafting. He was a kind hearted and giving person who enjoyed a good joke, if he was the one pulling the joke.
He leaves behind a brother and five sisters that will miss him very much. They include Danny of Kentuck, Mae Cummings of Kenna, Irene Milam of Kenna, Garnet (Paul) Casto of Kentuck, Carol (Dale) Southall of Ripley and Joyce (Jeff) Naylor of Kenna along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Jackson Count EMS and Hospital Staff for their kind services.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor S.R. Parsons Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Kerns Cemetery, Kentuck. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
