A resident of Aiken, SC for more than 55 years, he was a retired electrician from the Savannah River Site. He served in the Civilian Corps of Electricians during WW II and assisted in the rebuilding of Pearl Harbor. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Finney Casto; sister and brother-in-law, Jan & Roy Walters, Morgantown, NC; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Casto, Athens, GA and Rita Casto, England; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Casto & Sadie Boggus Casto; sister, Wanda Tucker, and brothers, Perry, Calvin, & Herbert Casto. Interment in the Church graveyard followed funeral services conducted Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Pallbearers included his nephews, Wade, Drew, Luke, Tom, & Matt Casto, and Steve Walters.
