Jessie Eli Brown
Jessie Eli Brown, 73, of Kenna, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, following an extended illness.
He was born November 30, 1946, in Kentuck, WV, a son of the late Brooks L. and Eleanor A. (Miller) Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Hinzman and two brothers, David and Okey Brown.
Jessie worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways with 25 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen (Hardman) Brown; son, John Charles Brown of Kenna; daughters, Deborah Sue Casto and her husband Robert of Kenna, Lisa Quisenberry of Kenna; brothers, Rudy Brown of Kenna, Jimmy Brown of Ripley, Roger Brown of Ripley; sisters, Mary Lively of Kenna, Betty Brown of Pt. Pleasant, Icie Parsons of Apple Grove, Dorie Smith of Ripley, Connie White; 9 grandchildren, Brian Casto, Christopher Casto, Stephanie Brown, Jessica Pence, Jeremy Casto, Stacie Pauley, Ryan Brown, MacKenzie Quisenberry, MaKayla Quisenberry; one great grandchild, Eli Pence and a future Pauley later this year.
At this time, there will be no public services.
Casto Funeral Home, Evans, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
