Obituary
Minnie Reynolds Robie daughter of F.S. and Loretta Casto Reynolds was born February 16, 1884 at Fairplain, WVa and departed this life Tuesday evening in the Holzer Hospital at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 22 days.
March 19, 1904, she was united in marriage with John Robie at Fairplain, WVa and the greater part of their life was spent in that community. This companionship was blessed with one son and one daughter who with their father survive, They are Mrs Samuel (Loretta) Jobe of Rt 1, Vinton, O, and Everett of Cheshire, O. She is also survived by one brother and three sisters: Mrs James Reynolds of Bidwell, Mrs Dorcas Adams and Mrs Mae Sharp of Columbus, O, and Mrs Allie Fisher of Sandyville, WV. Two brothers and two sisters have preceded her in death: Mr Clayton Reynolds of Porter, O, Ferdinand Reynolds of Massachusetts, Mrs Ernie Motz of Bidwell and Mrs Tennie Winters of Fairplain, WV. Mrs Robie took great pride in her ten grandchildren and one great grandchild who with a host of neighbors and friends mourn her passing.
In 1939, Mr & Mrs Robie purchased and moved to a farm in the Bidwell community where they have endeared themselves to all who knew them.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon for Mrs Minnie Reynolds Robie, 71, of Bidwell, Route 1.
Mrs Robie died Tuesday evening in Holzer Hospital, after a seven week illness. services were at the Vernon McCoy Funeral Home, and burial was in Vinton Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, John Robie, whom she wed March 19, 1904; a son Everett Robie of Cheshire; a daughter, Mrs Samuel (Loretta) Jobe of Vinton Route 1 (near Porter); and a brother and three sisters: James Reynolds of Bidwell; Mrs Dorcas Adams and Mrs Mae Sharp of Columbus; and Mrs Allie Fisher of Sandyville, WV.
Mrs Robie was born Feb 16, 1884 at Fair Plain, WVa to FS and Loretta Casto Reynolds. She and her husband spent their earlier life at Fair Plain, and in 1939 they purchased the former George Treftz farm on mile northwest of Bidwell.
She was a member of the Fair Plains Evangelical United Brethern Church.

Mrs Minnie Reynolds Robie, 71, Bidwell, died at Holzer hospital at 7 pm, Tuesday. She had been a patient there for about five weeks and suffered from a heart condition.
Mrs Robie was a native of West Virginia, born in Fairplain, Feb 16, 1884, the daughter of the late FS and Loretta Casto Reynolds. On March 19, 1904, she was married to John Robie, who survives. To this union two children were born and they survive, Everett, Cheshire, and Mrs Samuel (Loretta) Jobe, Rt 1, Vinton.
Other survivors are a brother, and three sisters, James Reynolds, Bidwell, Mrs Dorcas Adams, and Mrs Mae Sharp, Columbus, and Mrs Allie Fisher, Sandyville, WVa
The deceased spent most of her life in the Fairplain community and in 1939 the family removed to the George Treftz farm about a mile north of Bidwell, where they lived for the past 16 years. Mrs Robie was a member of the United Brethren Church at Fairplain.
