Passes Suddenly

Freeman Kennedy died very suddenly at his home on White Oak at 7:30 Monday evening. He had done his chores and seemed about as well as usual shortly before he expired. He was in his 75th year.
Mr. Kennedy was born on November 20, 1869 in Rutland Township but spent most of his life in Cheshire Twp. Forty-six years ago he married Ida M. Rupe, a daughter of the late William Rupe and she and the following children survive: Denver, a soldier in New Guinea; Gerald, whose post office address was New York when last heard from but now believed to be overseas; Delbert Kennedy, Toledo; Mrs. Paul Owen, Rodney; Clair, Claude and Geraldine all of Pt. Pleasant. There are three surviving sisters: Visa Russell, Pomeroy; Margaret Hogue, Middleport and Mrs. Harvey Butcher, Silver Run.
