  Notes	RE: Mary Lue Houchen obit​ Jeremy Houchen 6:23 PM Keep this message at the top of your inbox To: Larry Conner HOUCHEN Mary Lue Houchen, 81, died of a broken heart on August 25, 2011, at her daughters’ San Diego, California home, with both her daughters at her bedside. Mary Lue deteriorated rapidly following the death of the love of her life and husband of 64 years: Charles, on May 4, 2011. Born December 27, 1929 to Grace and Averil Fought of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Mary Lue was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her kids: Rick (Betsy), Mike (Mary Lee), Debbie (Cindy) and Tammy. Mary Lue is also survived by numerous grand/great grandchildren, relatives, friends, and best friend Mary Lee. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of the hospices involved in her care including: Acclaim Hospice (Columbus), Hospice Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV) and Lightbridge Hospice (San Diego). Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, August 30 at EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral services will be at 11AM on Wednesday, August 31. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Mom will be greatly missed, but it is wonderful to know she and dad are back together, again.
