  Notes	Joyce Mertens: I am sure that William is her brother. I have her parents as Samuel Taylor & Phoebe Sword and Samuel Taylor and Phoebe Nancy Sword and I just have him as Samuel Taylor. I have a copy of a letter to William Taylor about William Cromwell's death saying that his father is close to death.. Looks like William Cromwell died in 1874 which is about the time of the will. Nimrod Taylor is suppose to be another brother but he isn't mentioned in the will. I also have Elijah Taylor that md Lydia Bishop as the s/o of Samuel Taylor. I do know there are two different Taylor families and it is easy to confuse them. When William and Mahala have a son named Samuel Litburn Taylor you think there is a connection.
