J Boyd Shinn
Ripley - J. Boyd Shinn, 84, of Rt 3, Ripley, died Saturday at Pineview Convalescent Home, Harrisville, after a long illness.
He was a member of Grass Lick Baptist Church, Kenna, and was a retired farmer.
Surviving: sons, Perry and Lavelle, both of Ripley. Burton of Live Oak, Fla, Wayne of Denver, Colo, Jack of New Jersey; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grass Lick Baptist Church, with the Rev Rankin Roach officiating. Burial will be in the Shinn Cemetery at Fairplain. Visitors may call at Vail Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
