Freda Casto Peterson, 64, of Evans, WV, departed this life December 26, 1998 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, OH following a brief illness.
She was born May 30, 1934 at Ripley, WV a daughter of the late, Dennie and Freddie Casto.
She was a former employee of Bell Sound and Rockwell International in Columbus, OH. She was a retired book binder from National Graphics in Columbus, a member of the United Aircraft Workers Union and Graphic Communication International Union, a methodist and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Boyd Lowell Peterson; daughters, Deborah Ann Manning, Diane Gay Oney, Denise Lynn Wood and Donna Jean Higgins all of Columbus, OH; stepsons, Robert D. Peterson of Everett, WA and Michael Dennis Peterson of Mercedes, TX; stepdaughters, Karen D. Parrish of St. Louis, MO, Patricia Dawn Wilson of Richwood, OH and Colleen Denise McClinsey of Alton, IL; brother, Howard Casto of Orient, OH; sister, Barbara Newell of Ashville, OH; 12 grandchildren; several step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren.
Service will be Wednesday, December 30, 1998--1 pm at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with the Rev. Benjamin Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery, Evans, WV. Visitation 4-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
