COLYER Doris Randolph Colyer. Another angel entered into the arms of the Lord at the home of her daughter and son-in-law surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 21, 2003. Doris was 87, she was born on November 22, 1915 in Kenna, WV.
The daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Slaughter Raines. She was married to Rufus Randolph for 46 years and to Rev. David Colyer for 2 years. They preceded her in death.
Doris is survived by her son, Rev. Curtis (Ada) Randolph of Hillsboro, OH; daughter-in-law, Irene Randolph of Selah, WA; daughters, Justine (Phil) Wildermuth of Baltimore, OH, Janice Wright and Nancy (Charles) Hupp of The Plains, OH, Donna Bennett (and friend, Ron Adkins of Raceland, KY) She is also survived by 4 step-daughters. She was loved and adored by her 18 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Besides her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her son Carroll E. Randolph, her grandson Brian Aeiker, her granddaughter Diana Wright, three brothers and four sisters. She was a homemaker and also a mothers' helper for the Barney Greanbaum family for 9 years.
Friends may call at the WHITE-SCHWARZEL FUNERAL HOME in Coolville, OH, Sunday, November 23, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, OH. Funeral service will be at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Lynda Kuhn officiating and burial will follow in the Basil Memorial Cemetery in Baltimore, OH
