  Notes	From Chuck Boggess: Roy was a lifetime farmer. He also worked on the construction of Route 21. He used his horse team, Nell and Maude, to string pipe for a gas company, making $.50 a day. He raised horses, turkeys, cattle, chickens, and farmed vegetables. He never owned a motorized vehicle, doing all of his farm work either by hand or with the help of one of his sons' tractors and trucks.
