James Owens Casto, 89, of Ripley died Feb. 24, 1995 at the Jackson General Hos-pital after an extended illness.
He was born in Evans, W.Va., a son of the late James Thomas and Minnie Samana Reynolds Casto. He was a building contractor, owner-operator of Casto Lumber Yard in Middleport, Ohio and owner of the Look & See Mobile Home Park in Sebring, Fla. He was a Protestant.
Surviving are four sisters; Virginia Sayre and Geraldine Parsons of Evans, Marie Mose of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Freda Pringle of St. Albans, W.Va. He was preceded in death by a son, Norman Casto; two brothers, Archie and George Casto; and one sister, Permelia Cox.
Services 1 p.m. Sunday, Casto Funeral Home, Evans, the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Entombment Otterbein Cemetery, Evans, W.Va.
