JOHN ROBERT STAATS, 68, 146 Ninth Ave., Indialantic, died Monday, Aug. 18.
Mr. Staats was a logistics manager for Pan American Airways. Born in Ripley, W.Va., he moved to Central Florida in 1954. He was Protestant, and a member of Spessard Holland Golf Course, Pan American Retirees Club and Johnson Control Management Club. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9986.
Survivors: wife, Barbara A.; daughters, Kathleen E., Boca Raton, Mavis Ally, Cooper City; son, Jon J., Ascension Island; sisters, Eileen Vickers, Raleigh, N.C., O. Pitchford, Vienna, W.Va.
