Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Fairplain Church for Mrs Anna E Casto, 81, wife of Isadora C Casto of Fairplain, who died at her home there Thursday following a long illness. The Rev Rankin Roach officiated at the service and the burial was in the Casto cemetery. Mrs Casto was born at Point Pleasant on November 18, 1878, a daughter of Elias and Catherine King Kerwood, and died January 5, 1950. She had been a member of the Methodist church for seventy years. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are the following children: two sons, O.C. Casto and O.K. Casto, both of Racine, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs Pauline Powers of Beckley; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One daughter preceded the mother in death.
