  Notes	The Jackson Herald Ripley, WV Tuesday, January 25, 2011     Jackson County, W.Va. —  Wavie Lucille Randolph, 73, went home to heaven on Monday, January 24, 2011 at St. Marys Hospital in Huntington following a sudden illness. Wavie was born March 14, 1937 a daughter of the late Dennis and Iva Parsons. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A lifelong Christian and a true believer of the redeeming power of Jesus Christ. She will be deeply missed by all. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Luster Randolph, a son Cleo S. Randolph; brother Waldo Parsons and sisters Rosalie Payne and Audrey Nichols. She is survived by daughters Reva Chapman and Donna Randolph both of Greensboro, NC, Linda (Rod) Rhodes of Gay, Kitty Randolph of Leroy and Alice Martin of Ripley; daughter in law Sandi Randolph of Ravenswood; brother Kenneth (Emma) Parsons of Indiana; sisters Marie (Pete) White of Cicerone, Iris Shaffer of Elkview, Marlene (Marvin) Shaffer of Elkview, Jean (Ernest) Cox of Ripley, Farabelle (Doug) Taylor of Ripley; Sister in law Wilda Parsons of Ripley. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to Trisa Fields for all of the love and care you have given to Wavie. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Kiser Cemetery, Kentuck. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Cleo Stanley Randolph, 29, was pronounced dead on arrival at Davis Memorial Hospital at Elkins following the early morning accident that occurred at Belington in Randolph County. According to family members, Randolph died after being struck in the chest by a piece of pipe. Mr. Randolph was a 1973 graduate of Ripley High School and worked for Fox Drilling of Glenville. He was the son of the late Luster Blenn Randolph and Wavie Parsons Randolph. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include: wife, Sandra Rankin Randolph of Liverpool; son, Christopher Luster Randolph at home; daughter Rachel Rayna Randolph at home; sisters, Mrs. Reva Chapman of Harmony, Miss Donna Randolph of Liverpool, Mrs. Linda Rhodes of Ripley, Mrs. Kitty Rhodes of Ripley, Miss Alice Randolph of Liverpool. Services will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at 11 a.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Kiser cemetery at Kentuck.
