  Notes	Lula Fay Miller-Mitchell January 20, 1922 - March 19, 2018 Obituary for Lula Fay Miller-Mitchell Lula Fay Miller Mitchell, 96 of Ripley, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2018 at Eagle Point Nursing Home in Parkersburg following a long illness. She was born January 20, 1922 in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Lilburn and Ella May Scarbrough Ashby. She was a Homemaker and worked at the H and P Store in Ripley for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and taking care of her family where she loved cooking delicious meals and sweets for them to enjoy. Her loved The Lord and was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church for over 50 years, and she loved reading her Bible. She was awarded certificates for reading the entire Bible through thirteen times. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann (Buck) Harpold of Weston, Oleta (Steve) Atkinson of Ripley; a son, Darrell (Jane) Miller of Buckhannon; sisters, Erma Nolan of Trenton, MI, Dorlene Harper of Lexington, KY and Lorene Baldwin of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Dennis (Brenda) Harpold, David Harpold, Kelly (Eric) Manley-Fifelski, Shawn (Annette) Manley and Sally Anthony Manley; great grandchildren Mandy Harpold, Erica (Robbie) Dawson, Nicholas (Haley) Fifelski, Alexis (Ryan) Watson, Natasha Fifelski, Alexander Fifelski, Zachary Fifelski, Michael (Bethany) Manley, Christopher Manley and Ryan Manley and great-great grandchildren, Storm Dawson, Ellie Fifelski, Theodore Fifelski, Silas Watson and Desmond Watson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, George Miller, Lytis Davis and Ray Mitchell; sister Wilma Taylor and brothers Junior, Basil and Hansel Ashby Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastors Mike Elder and Steve Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
