  Notes	The Times Recorder Zanesville Ohio 29 Dec 1978 Fri Pg 5 Roy Parsons Roy Parsons, 60, of Ohio 345 near Saltillo, former Crooksville resident, died at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday in Good Samaritan Medical Center following a two-month illness. Mr Parsons was retired from Rockwell International at Newark, and was a member of Eagles Lodge at Crooksville. Born July 18, 1918 at Ripley, WVa, he was a son of Luther and Ethel Randolph Parsons. Surviving are his wife, the former Frances E Bateson; one daughter, Mrs Robert (Beverly) Buxton of Warsaw; two sons, Leroy of Thornville and Charles of Pataskala; two sisters, Mrs Gatha Stover of Powell and Mrs Aretta Kay of Evans, WVa; one brother, Otis of Ashley, Ohio; five step-children and 16 grandchildren. Eagles Lodge will hold fraternal service at 8 p.m. today in Goebel Funeral Home where friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev Evelyn Beard officiating. Burial will be in Mt Horeb Cemetery.
