(Abstract) The Commonwealth of Virginia to Robert White and John McCleland Gentlemen Justices of Rockbridge County. George Rhodes and Susanna his wife sold 7 September 1812 to Philip Keller 150 acres in Rockbridge County. Susanna cannot conveniently travel to the Courthouse to make acknowledgement of the deed. The aforementioned justices are to go to Susanna and privately examine her separate and apart from her husband. She was privily examined and acknowledged that she freely and voluntarily without persuasion or threats make the indenture. Dated 7 September 1812.
