Ronald Keith Robie, 44, of Columbus, formerly of Bidwell, passed away Monday, July 11, 2005, at London, Ohio, as a result of heart failure.
He was born April 21, 1961, at Point Pleasant, W.Va., son of Keith F. (Cheryl) Robie of Gallipolis, and Joyce Higley (Jim McBride) Robie of Bidwell.
A member of I.B.A.O., he was employed as a tow truck driver for Broad & James Shell, Columbus.
He is survived by three sons and a daughter, Raymond (Amy) Robie of Cheshire, Jessica Robie of Gallipolis, Alan Robie of Columbus, and Dustin Robie of Gallipolis, two grandchildren, Brycton and Brayden Robie of Cheshire, a sister, Tammi Robie (and the late "Red") Brabham of Bidwell; a brother, Steven F. Robie of Bidwell; his maternal grandparents, Basil and Elsie Higley of Bidwell; a very special friend Dixie Keil of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Erma and Everett Robie.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2005, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home Vinton Chapel, 208 Main STreet, Vinton. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery at Bidwell. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005.
