When he was found he laid on his back his head scarcely submerged in the shallow water, his feet upon the bank. There was a coroner's inquest that resulted in the following: Verdict of the coroner's jury that said John Fisher Sr. came to his death by accidental drowning in Two Mile Creek on the 19th of January, 1866.
