When he was found he laid on his back his head scarcely submerged in the shallow water, his feet upon the bank. There was a coroner's inquest that resulted in the following: Verdict of the coroner's jury that said John Fisher Sr. came to his death by accidental drowning in Two Mile Creek on the 19th of January, 1866. John Fisher's Will: Kan. Co. WV Vol. 2-150 8/22/1861 my five daughters, to wit Rebecca Miller, Mary Ann Fisher, Rachel Hall, Lucinda Carney, and America Milam three children of Leathy Fisher deceased
