  Notes	J. P. Jones (1933) John Perry Jones, a former resident of Flat Fork, Roane Co., died Aug 7, 1833, aged 78 years, 1 month and 28 days. He was married to Rebecca Catharine Hunt and to this union 12 children were born, Walter of Parkersburg; Roy of Charleston; Wilson of Walton; Ben of Flat Fork; Mrs Joe Harper of Cicerone; Mrs. Clay Harper of Frame; Mrs. Joe Coon of Flat Fork; Harvey, Emery and Gatha at home. His wife died two years ago. A son Dennis died in infancy. He is also survived by the Following brother and sister: J. H. of Spencer; W. E. of Kenna; J. o, J. M., C. E., and D. W. all of Flat Fork; Mrs. Lucinda Eakin of Gay; and Mrs. L. D. Slaughter of Belgrove. He was converted and Joines the U. B. Church 60 years ago. Rev. L. D. Crew of Sistersville delivered a funeral address at the Shady Dale Church and the remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery.
