  Notes	He taught at the Thomas Ridge one room school for several years and moved his family later to Witcher’s Creek, Kanawha County (briefly) where he worked in a saw mill, to Pt. Pleasant, and in 1918 to Huntington where he died in 1929. There he worked for the Jewel Tea Co. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Mammoth, Kanawha County and was a Past Sachem of Mohawk Tribe No. 11, Improved Order of Red Men.
